The tells everyone already knows
"I hope this email finds you well." "I wanted to reach out regarding…" "Please don't hesitate to reach out." AI-drafted email has a uniform diplomatic temperature that human email doesn't — real people are abrupt on Tuesday and warm on Friday. Recipients clock the change in your voice faster than any classifier would.
For cold outreach it's existential: reply rates on recognizably AI emails collapse, because the reader's first inference is "this person sent a thousand of these."
